Since mid-January 2015 it has been known in branding as the Coca-Cola London Eye, after an agreement signed in September 2014; --> WESTMINSTER ABBEY: Westminster Abbey is a Gothic monastery church in London that is the traditional place of coronation and burial for English monarchs.; --> BUCKINGHAM PALACE: Buckingham Palace is a palace in the City of Westminster, which is part of central London, England in the United Kingdom and was built in 1703 by John Sheffield ; --> ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL: Saint Paul's Cathedral, in London. It is located within the central City of London, atop Ludgate Hill and northeast of Blackfriars. Designed and built (1675 - 1710) under the supervision of Sir Christopher Wren, it combines Neoclassical, Gothic and Baroque elements.; --> TOWER BRIDGE: is the most famous landmarks and is a suspension bridge on River Thames. It has two towers in Victorian Gothic style, that are connectd with two walkways that are constructed so they can resist horinzontal forces from suspended parts of the bridge.; --> BIG BANG: Big Bang is among London's most iconic landmarks and must - see London attractions. the clock tower loocks spectacular at night when the four clock faces ara illuminated. It is tall 96 metres.; --> BRITISH MUSEUM: The British Museum was founded in 1753, the firt national publi museum in the world. from the beginning it granted free admission to all "studious and curious persons".; --> HYDE PARK: London's Hyde Park is one of the greatest city parks in the world. The Park has two lakeside restaurants which are licensed and serve everything from a three-course meal to a quick cup of coffee.; --> NATIONAL GALLERY: the National Gallery, art museum in London that houses Great Britain's national collection of European paintings. It was founded in 1824.; --> TATE MODERN: Tate Modern is London's new modern art gallery displaying modern and contemporary art from 1900 to the current day.; --> ZSL LONDON ZOO: The London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. It was opened in London on 27 April 1828, and was originally intended to be used as a collection for scientific study.; --> VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM: Victoria and Albert Museum, what is generally regarded as the world's greatest collection of the decorative arts. The foundation of the museum dates from 1852.; --> ROYAL OBSERVATORY GREENWICH: The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is an observatory situated on a hill in Greenwich Park, overlooking the River Thames. The observatory was commissioned in 1675 by King Charles II, with the foundation stone being laid on 10 August. The site was chosen by Sir Christopher Wren. |
